Bob Hagen was the lonely Legion Rider on his motorcycle while the rest of the District opted to ride in their vehicles since it was only 23 degrees.
Annual Brat & Corn Roast Fund Raiser
Eagle River American Legion Post 114 and The American Legion Riders Association of Wisconsin, District 11 will be holding their Seventh Annual Brat and Corn Roast Fund Raiser. The event will be on Saturday, August 23rd beginning at 11:00 am at The American Legion Post 114 Clubhouse, located at 520 Hwy 45 South, Eagle River. There will be door prizes, wheel and paddle raffles, food, drinks and fun for all. For the first year, D.J. Chuck Gillespie will provide music. The proceeds will be used to sponsor a Northland Pines Student for Badger Boys State and Local American Flag Donations. Everyone is welcome and please bring your friends. The American Legion Riders for District 11 were out in force for this year's Memorial Day Ceremony held in front of the Vilas County Court House in Eagle River Wisconsin. Members from both Post 114 and Post 480 being present and accounted for.
